Salary:     £17,764 to £20,989 per annum (pro-rata if applicable) depending on skills and experience. Salary progression beyond this scale is subject to performance.

We are seeking an enthusiastic team worker to join the Teaching, Learning & Assessment Office within the School of Veterinary Medicine and Science, based at Sutton Bonington.

The Teaching, Learning and Assessment Administrator will be a key member of the Veterinary School administration team.The post will provide operational support to academics within the School for all teaching and learning resources and includes support to web-based teaching and assessment activities within the School, ensuring that the School exploits and appropriately implements the latest technology to enhance the teaching and learning of students.The post will act as a year coordinator for all teaching materials and requirements and will manage and coordinate internal and external teaching delivery providers for the School.The role will also undertake a further range of duties associated with teaching and academic support which are vital to ensure a quality learning experience.
The post will require flexibility, dynamism, energy and initiative, the ability to work independently and as part of a team, and good communication skills.The candidate will be required to be thorough and meticulous in their approach to tasks in order to deliver a high quality professional service to students and staff. Excellent IT skills, including the range of Microsoft applications and internet applications are a requirement and experience of a virtual learning environment would be advantageous.
