Salary: £17,764 to £20,989 per annum (pro-rata if applicable) depending on skills and experience. Salary progression beyond this scale is subject to performance.

Research and Innovation are recruiting for an Office Administrator to provide comprehensive secretarial and clerical support to the department, and work closely to the Personal Assistant to the Director, to ensure efficient and smooth running of the team and also support members of the Senior Management team. The ability to assimilate information on the diverse range of activities and responsibilities of the Unit, flexibility, and the commitment to develop this role are all pivotal to this post.
Candidates should have a good standard of IT skills which include Microsoft Word and Excel and Outlook. Good interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team are essential. Candidates must be educated to GCSE level (or equivalent), which should include English and Mathematics, grade C or above. Candidates should also have significant experience of clerical/administrative duties, preferably within Higher Education or similar.
This is a full time, 36.25 hours per week, permanent position. Job share arrangements may be considered.
