International Student Adviser

Part-time (28 Hours per week), Permanent
Grade 5 - £28,936 - £34,520 per annum pro rata

Contributing to the development of University policy and practice with regards to international students, you will provide these students with specialist advice and guidance on a range of issues including, student immigration and Tier 4 visas, financial matters, work rights and general welfare, whilst liaising closely with University Schools and Professional Departments.

Educated to degree level, you will have post degree experience of working in an advisory or related role within Higher Education or Further Education.  You will be well informed of international student needs, experience in handling student visas and complex case work, competent at delivering presentations and workshops, culturally aware and able to work within a team as well as on your own initiative. 

The post will be based primarily at Paisley campus, however, flexibility of location is required to meet delivery requirements of the International Student Support Team.
