Hang Seng Management College (HSMC) was restructured from the former Hang Seng School of Commerce and established in 2010 as a non-profit-making private university-level institution with five Schools (Business, Communication, Decision Sciences, Humanities & Social Science, and Translation), about 5,000 full-time students and 185 full-time faculty members. Professor - Department of Social Science (Ref: Prof (SSC) 2018-05-11)
The Department seeks to appoint an outstanding candidate to lead the science team in the General Education programme and to develop and teach new modules in science, nature, environment and sustainability.
(i) possess a Doctoral Degree in a related discipline; (ii) have a track record of relevant experience and a strong profile that can demonstrate scholarship in fields related to the module area; and (iii) have a successful track record of academic / professional experience in tertiary teaching, and/or professional services.
Candidates with experience in developing new teaching and research programmes are welcome to apply.
Appointees are expected to assume duty in August 2018 or January 2019. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
