Leverage your extensive experience in Community Services to deliver competency-based training at the Faculty of Vocational Education and Training, Alice Springs.

The Charles Darwin University (CDU) Vocational Education and Training (VET) Faculty is responsible for the planning, delivery and reporting of government subsidised and fee for service training and assessment to approximately 14,000 students across the Northern Territory.

As the VET Lecturer/Workplace Assessor – Community Services you are responsible for preparing and delivering competency-based training in Community Services and/or Health Training Packages specific to the industry. This includes delivering training in accordance with the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA) standards. You will also ensure the accurate and timely completion of administration tasks related to the delivery and assessment of the program, including maintenance of accurate student records.

In addition, you are expected to contribute to growing the business and to anticipate and respond to industry training requirements.

To be successful you require a diploma or other relevant tertiary qualification in a discipline within community services, extensive work experience and a current Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40110 or its successor).
