The Director of Graduate Affairs oversees the graduate admissions and financial aid processes for the College of Fine Arts, including oversight and implementation of online admissions platforms. The position manages and works closely with the admissions staff in each of our schools, as well as the Assistant Director of Graduate Affairs, on financial aid budget and awarding strategies and processes. The candidate will build, execute and implement a graduate enrollment strategy for our distinctive graduate programs which will consist of well-defined marketing, recruitment, scholarship and yield plans. The candidate will have the opportunity to conceive of and implement new initiatives that improve and enrich the learning and social environment for graduate students from inquiry through the degree program. The position will creatively direct admissions-related communications for the on-campus programs including creation of unique web content, written brochures, email cultivations and media presentations. This role will chart future admissions efforts in alignment with the strategic plan of the University.

Required Skills

Master's degree required. Five to eight years of progressive responsibility over graduate enrollment management at the masters level, including the creation and execution of recruitment practices, yield strategies, and tuition discounting models. Comprehensive understanding of graduate education and its complexities in todays marketplace, particularly in an arts environment.
