Customer Service Advisor (Information Points)
1 x FT Permanent Customer Service Adviser (36.5 hours/week) - 8am to 8pm
5 over 7 contract (no overtime paid)
Fixed Term Contract until 31st December 2019
Based within Student Services, you will contribute to the effective running of a professional Information Point within the Hub on a rota basis, giving specialist advice and assistance. You will be the first point of contact for enquiries relating to professional and faculty services,arranging appointments, dealing with multi-cultural student enquiries as well as undertaking a variety of administrative duties.
You must be educated to A level or equivalent and have competent and extensive experience of working in an extremely busy environment. It is essential that you have sound IT experience. You must be a very effective team member but also able to work on your own using your initiative, dealing with conflict, have the ability to communicate with people of all nationalities and cultures and be able to work under pressure providing a sensitive approach to our customers.
This post is 36.5 hours per week working a 7.5 hour shift between 8am and 8pm.
