Institute of Bioresource and Agriculture (IBA) 

The Institute of Bioresource and Agriculture (IBA) is a newly established Institute under the Faculty of Science of Hong Kong Baptist University. It will serve as a knowledge hub that engages in bioresource conservation and sustainable agriculture, promotes and offers professional and public education in sustainable consumption, bioresource and organic agriculture. The Institute is seeking for a suitable candidate to fill the following vacancy:
Postdoctoral Research Fellow (PR374/17-18)

The Institute is now seeking young and talented researchers to apply for the position of Postdoctoral Research Fellow. The appointee is expected to conduct scholarly research, supervise research assistants and assist in submitting grant proposals. The appointee is also expected to assist in the establishment of the Institute.

Applicants should possess a PhD degree in Agriculture, Fertilizer and Composting, Environmental Biotechnology or Soil Science or related disciplines, with at least two years of relevant post-doctoral experience.

Initial appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract of one year commencing as soon as possible. Re-appointment thereafter is subject to performance review, mutual agreement and availability of funding.

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
