LECTURER IN HISTORY/MILITARY HISTORY

£33,518 - £36,613 PER ANNUM

The Department of History and Archaeology at its University Centre Shrewsbury campus seeks to appoint a Lecturer in History/Military History. The successful candidate will have a proven track record as a teacher and researcher in History/Military History. 

You will have a good Honours Degree (normally 2.1 or First or equivalent) in History or closely related subject and a Ph.D. in History or Military History. You will have considerable HE teaching experience, a strong and versatile background to teaching History and a proven capacity to deliver a range of undergraduate and postgraduate modules in History and Military History.

You may have experience of supervising undergraduate dissertations on History topics as well as an ability to enhance the MA provision in Military History at University Centre Shrewsbury. You will have evidence of either publications in History/Military History, or demonstrable evidence of work-in-progress towards such publications suitable for submission to the next Research Excellence Framework
