The opportunity

The position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of the School's new Bachelor of Communication and Journalism and to contribute to its design and implementation. Importantly, the focus of both the Communication and Journalism staff and the new degree program is a commitment to the potential of communication and journalism to impact and deliver positive social and environmental change.

This is a continuing, full time position based at either the Nathan or Gold Coast campus.

About you

As the successful candidate, you have a PhD in either Communication or Journalism. Your previous experience in teaching at a tertiary level will enable you to hit the ground running in this engaging role. Along with an ability to publish quality research, you will also have proven success in attracting grant funding which is in line with the strengths of the School.

Salary range

Lecturer (Level B): $90,697 - $107,706 per annum. Salary package including 17% employer superannuation contribution: $106,116 - $126,017 per annum.
