Sheffield Hallam University's Sport Department offers a range of services across several different sites to staff, students and external organisations.

We are a forward thinking Sports Department with a clear remit from the University to increase participation in physical activity whilst developing our sporting talent. Our university boasts excellent sports facilities.

The Participation and Activation team develop and oversee a range of financially sustainable sport and physical activity programmes for students and staff, including management of the University's two gyms, with a focus to increase participation in physical activity. We organise a range of intermural and social sport programmes to provide opportunities to undertake sport and compete in a friendly competitive environment.

This is an excellent opportunity to develop your knowledge and experience of partnership working with participation sport initiatives and National Governing Bodies of Sport. You will have excellent verbal and written communications with the ability to present key initiatives of sport participation models to various stakeholders. A creative and innovative approach to work is essential along with experience and understanding of participation sport development programmes, preferably in Further and/or Higher Education.
