The College of Nursing and Midwifery delivers teaching in the areas of Nursing, Midwifery, and Health Science. The education and training provided by the College is strongly grounded in primary health care principles and a philosophy of working to advance health and wellbeing in partnership with individuals and communities. The College offers a range of undergraduate, honours and postgraduate programs that cater to students in pursuit of a health professional or research career and those in pursuit of lifelong learning.
As the Placement Coordinator you are responsible for ensuring that student placements for health-related degrees and practicum ongoing grades, are arranged successfully and in a timely manner. This involves creating, developing and managing effective systems and processes, and enhancing relationships with placement facilities in collaboration with team members and academic staff. In addition, you will communicate updates and positive student experiences through various media to promote a sense of community among students, staff, and placement facilities.
To be successful you require education, training and/or relevant experience equivalent to completion of diploma in business or relevant area with subsequent relevant work experience.
