The Estates and Campus Services team look after all property issues within the University which includes the management of space and Timetabling.
We are looking for a Timetabling Manager to lead a team of two Timetabling Officers to co-ordinate the University’s timetable and room bookings using the current Celcat timetabling system. You will play a key role in developing the timetabling electronic systems and improving process and practice across the University. The Timetabling Manager would be responsible for liaising with the Faculties and Registry to accumulate annual course data and create an efficient timetable that not only use of the campus efficiently but maximises student experience. The timetabling manager is required to develop a timetable that meets all the needs of both teaching staff and students.
Successful applicants will be able to demonstrate managerial skills in their application as well as experience in working within education and timetabling. It is also essential to have some knowledge on systems and software used in timetabling. The role requires the ability to liaise and negotiate across a variety of departments both academic and professional.
