Starting Salary: £21,967.80 per annum (£36,613 FTE)
Hours: 0.6 FTE
Term: 12 month contract (Maternity Cover)

The Development Office at St Mary’s provides a vibrant and service-orientated alumni relations programme which has been highly successful over recent years.
We are looking for a part-time Alumni Relations Officer to join our team to cover a maternity leave. S/he will be responsible for the delivery of a service-led alumni strategy which will enhance the benefits of having studied at the University, support academic and service departments in maximising the involvement of our alumni in areas as diverse as mentoring and recruitment.
The successful applicant will have good relevant experience gained in an alumni relations or similar relationship-management role. S/he will be able to work proactively and on his/her own initiative. With excellent verbal and written communication skills, the post holder will be conversant with relational databases such as Raiser’s Edge or equivalent, have a good working knowledge of social media platforms, and ideally will be familiar with event management.
