A fixed term opportunity has arisen at Arts University Bournemouth to contribute to our BA Fashion course, at Lecturer level.
The Fashion course offers specialist routes in Fashion: Design, Technology, Menswear, and Fashion Product with a philosophy that is defined by and acknowledges:

We are seeking a candidate with expertise in Fashion design, fashion textiles and CAD to teach across various levels of the 3 year programme. The post holder is ideally expected to have currency in both education and industry, to be engaged with scholarship and research, and have the ability to develop exciting live projects with industry. You will also have a track record with recognised brands, and experience of teaching at HE Level is highly desirable. Skills in traditional and digital textiles, and industry appropriate software, including Photoshop, Illustrator, etc are essential; knowledge of knit and embroidery or a willingness to train would be desirable.
The post holder will be flexible in their approach to fashion education and committed to a student-centred approach to teaching and learning, and have a willingness to engage in the wider running of the fashion department.
The successful candidate for the Lecturer post would hold a subject specific Masters degree and ideally hold a teaching qualification or Higher Education Academy (HEA) Membership.
