The University’s new Digital Humanities Research Centre has successfully brought colleagues together from a range of faculties and disciplines to secure a number of external research grants. The faculty is seeking to consolidate, further develop, and enhance the activity and reputation of colleagues working in this most fascinating and important area through the continuation of the post of Director of the Digital Humanities Research Centre (DHRC) following the departure of its founding Director.
The post holder will be based in the Faculty of Arts and Humanities and individual expertise should therefore reflect one or more of the subjects/discipline areas within the Faculty. You will hold a doctorate and evidence teaching and research experience and potential that will enhance the work of the Digital Humanities Research Centre and impact on curriculum and research at all levels within the faculty.
The post is positioned to work closely with colleagues across all relevant faculties to raise the profile of digital humanities within the taught curriculum, enhance research potential and reputation, and oversee the activities of the Research Centre.
