Senior Lecturer in Educational Practice (Mathematics) 
Base location – Riverside Campus, Chester
Secondary locations – University of Chester Academy Trust (UCAT) schools.

£43,685 - £47,722 PER ANNUM 

The Faculty of Education and Children’s Services is seeking applications from well-qualified, enthusiastic and committed people to join our successful team. An outstanding secondary phase classroom practitioner, the post holder will continue to work in the classroom alongside teachers in the University sponsored academies and partner schools, supporting their development and delivering improved outcomes for pupils through innovative pedagogy and research informed practice.

The Faculty is a vibrant and expanding area of the University of Chester, providing undergraduate and postgraduate programmes for trainee teachers, a flourishing continuing professional development programme for serving teachers and undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in Early Childhood Studies, Education Studies and programmes relevant to the wider children’s workforce. The University sponsors a number of Academies through the University of Chester Academy Trust (UCAT).  Many of these schools are in challenging circumstances and the University is committed to their improvement.

The successful candidates will be expected to make a distinctive contribution to the work of the Faculty through research and the provision of professional development services regionally, nationally and internationally. It is essential the candidate is familiar with the secondary Mathematics curriculum and ITE in England,
