The Head of Libraries, Digital Services and the Vietnamese culture collections provides strategic leadership, compelling vision and effective management for the University’s Library physical spaces, digital services and
Vietnamese Culture collections to advance the University’s strategic plan. The Head of Libraries, Digital Services and the Vietnamese culture collections provides high level advice to the VPA and University community on the provision of library services, the scholarly communication environment and Culture collections services.
In addition the Head of Libraries, Digital Services and the Vietnamese culture collections will facilitate global partnerships with other Vietnamese Universities, galleries and industry to develop digital excellence online, curate Vietnamese cultural collections, curate open educational resources, delivery of strategic digital projects and events.
The role will specifically involve strategic management of digital innovation projects in addition to library operations across two locations. This role may be required to work at other locations of RMIT Vietnam.
