The Department of Pharmaceutical, Chemical and Environmental Sciences (PCES) within the Faculty of Engineering and Science at the University of Greenwich is an inspirational place of learning, which is fully committed to delivering a first class student experience coupled with pro-active engagement in internationally recognized research. The Department is currently looking for an enthusiastic individual who has a commitment to the highest standards of teaching and research to provide 12-months maternity cover in the subject area of inorganic/materials/physical chemistry and to assist the Faculty to achieve its challenging strategic objectives.

The Faculty has excellent research and teaching laboratory facilities within several Grade II listed buildings, located at its attractive campus in Medway, Kent. It is expected the applicant will enter fully into the scientific life of the Department. In addition to the teaching duties outlined above, he or she will also be encouraged to undertake research within a vibrant interdisciplinary environment. The successful candidate will have a PhD in Chemistry or related subject area.
