The Opportunity

The Department of Community Emergency Health and Paramedic Practice has a longstanding contractual agreement relationship with the Metropolitan Fire Brigade Services Board in the provision of the Emergency Medical Responder (EMR) program; a program that is now in its fifteenth year. This program provides Victorian firefighters with the skills and knowledge in first responder competencies such as CPR and defibrillation.

As a lecturer, you will be expected to make contributions to the teaching effort of the University and to ‎carry out activities to develop and maintain scholarly research and/or professional activities ‎relevant to the profession or discipline. Specifically, this position is primarily responsible for contributing to the development of education, training and scholarship towards the EMR program and strategic direction for the department.

This role is a full-time position; however, flexible working arrangements may be negotiated.
