You will take a leading role in contributing to the ongoing development and growth of relevant teaching, CPD, research and consulting activities, make a significant contribution to the development of research and to REF 2021, and provide academic and research leadership to an area of business and management. We are particularly interested in hearing from candidates with strengths in one of the following areas:

  • Public policy and public management
  • Regional development and local government
  • Strategic innovation and entrepreneurial leadership
  • Risk, Responsibility, Ethics and Governance (including sustainability)
  • Supply chain competitiveness and re-manufacturing
  • Digital business

You must have extensive and detailed knowledge and subject expertise and be able to foster and develop collaborative links with academic, business, third sector and public sector partners.  As well as having a strong publication record and evidence of ability to generate research income, commensurate with the title of Professor/Associate Professor, you must have the ability to support and develop colleagues, especially early career researchers.
