Richmond, The American International University in London is looking to recruit a Film Studies specialist with experience in both UK and US systems of Higher Education to teach on our BA programmes in Film Studies and Communications starting in the first week of September for the 2018-2019 and 2019-2020 Academic Years.

Applicants must be able to demonstrate ability in teaching at the undergraduate level, together with evidence of an active research agenda. Experience in both UK and US systems of Higher Education would be an advantage. Courses to be taught include Introduction to Film Studies, Cultural Theory, Mainstream Cinema and International Cinema. The ability to teach a practical, ‘hands-on’ Introduction to Filmmaking course would also be an advantage.

This position is based at both Richmond and Kensington Campuses.
