Postdoc Position in the field of Special Education, Inclusion or Applied Behavior Analysis Research

POSTDOC POSITION IN THE FIELD OF SPECIAL EDUCATION, INCLUSION OR APPLIED BEHAVIOR ANALYSIS RESEARCH
The Institute for Research in Inclusive Education located at Masaryk University in the Czech Republic conducts research on teaching and learning in inclusive and special education settings and disability and inclusion in a broader socio-cultural context. We are looking for a colleague (post-doc) who will stay with us initially for two (2) years and conduct research in one or more of the following areas: applied behaviour analysis, inclusive education, disability studies, sociology of disability, special needs education in children with severe and multiple disabilities, alternative and augmentative communication and social skills training and teaching of students with neurodevelopmental disabilities. The post-doc may suggest his own research proposal or join one of our current activities in special education needs or applied behaviour analysis research (see 3 options below).
OPTION 1: JOIN OUR APPLIED BEHAVIOR ANALYSIS TEAM
This option is meant for behavior analysts (with Ph.D. and BCBA or BCBA-D credentials), who would like to help us introduce and develop the science of ABA in the region. Masaryk University is the only institution in the country offering courses in ABA, training future behaviour analysts and promoting the use of ABA in therapy and education. Prospective candidate shall have knowledge and skills in behaviour interventions, preferably with children and/or adults with autism spectrum disorders or other neurodevelopmental disabilities. This option is especially suitable for someone, who is willing to take the role of change leader and conduct his/her research in previously unexplored areas.
OPTION 2: JOIN ONE OF OUR INTERNATIONAL RESEARCH PROJECTS
This option is meant for junior researchers with Ph.D., who would like to join our current projects and conduct research as members of our established research teams. Prospective candidates shall have experience in the specific area of research they would like to join. OPTION 3: CONDUCT INDEPENDENT RESEARCH BASED ON YOUR EXPERTISE
This option is meant for advanced researchers with Ph.D, who have developed their own research activities in areas of inclusive education, special needs education, assistive technology, autism, disability studies, sociology of disability, etc. and would like to continue with their own research, while staying with us at Masaryk University. Prospective post-doc candidates shall be able to demonstrate thorough experience in the research methods suitable for their research topic, have previous experience as members or primary investigators of a research team and have substantial knowledge of the subject matter of their research.
