The MARCS Institute for Brain, Behaviour and Development is an interdisciplinary research institute of Western Sydney University. Our programs of research investigate human communication through the themes: sensing and perceiving, interacting with each other and technologies for humans. Researchers in MARCS come from many disciplines including developmental psychology, language science, music science, cognitive neuroscience, and biomedical, electrical, electronic and software engineering.

We are seeking an energetic, forward thinking, self-motivated administrator to take up this Executive Officer position. The successful applicant would provide executive level support to the Director and Institute Manager. A key responsibility of this position is the coordination and administration of the Institute’s Higher Degree Research Training and executive level support within the institute. The position also provides strategic and operational advice and support across the Institute’s operations, and will disseminate, co-ordinate and prepare correspondence, reports and other documents. 

The position is based on the Bankstown Campus. 

Remuneration Package: HEW Level 7 $101,964 to $110,022 p.a. (comprising Salary $86,161 to $92,970 p.a., plus 17% Superannuation, plus Leave Loading)
