The Discipline of Human Resources and Management in the School of Business delivers Human Resources, Management and Operations Management programs at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels and is currently looking for two highly personable, dynamic academics with expertise across a range of management disciplines, including but not limited to:

  • Strategic management 
  • Leadership 
  • Organisational studies 
  • Human resource management and industrial relations 
  • Entrepreneurship and innovation 
  • Operations management
  • Contemporary technologies in business 
  • Data analytics and big data use in business Business ethics and sustainability
  • Cross-cultural management
  • Change management

The successful applicant will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and will be PhD qualified and an active researcher with the ability to disseminate research to a variety of audiences. The potential for research supervision and the generation of funding for engaged industry, government and community based research and consultancy will position candidates well for this role. There is an expectation that the successful candidate will have experience teaching at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels in a student-centred, technology-enabled contemporary teaching environment. Experience in work-integrated learning will also be highly valued. Accordingly, candidates should be aware of current industry practices and be able to take the lead in developing and delivering engaged curriculum. 

Candidates who have experience in teaching in both online and face-to-face delivery formats will be ideally suited to this role.

Remuneration Package: Academic Level B $110,594 to $130,495 p.a. (comprising Salary $99,777 to $117,818 p.a., plus 9.5% Superannuation, plus Leave Loading)
