Centre Administration Manager

The Centre for English Language and Foundation Studies (CELFS) is an ambitious and dynamic Centre with a growing presence in the University. We have an exciting opportunity for a confident and highy motivated individual to manage the delivery of CELFS administrative services within an innovative, demanding and rewarding environment. You will line manage the Administration Team, deputise for the Centre Manager as appropriate and have a close working relationship with the SMT to ensure the highest quality of customer service is provided.
You will need to have a creative and flexible approach to problem solving as the Centre is atypical in terms of many University polices and procedures. You will lead on particular areas of responsibility such as compliance, analysis and reporting of non standard student data, and be as comfortable representing CELFS with PVC’s, Faculty Education Directors, external agents and international students alike. We are looking for someone who is committed to the student experience with a willingness to take initiative and be proactive with instigating change. Excellent communication skills are required, as is the ability to work with a wide range of people from different cultural backgrounds.
