Graduate Intern - Higher Education Engagement Assistant

This internship offers an invaluable opportunity to work across two interlinked projects within the Higher Education Progression Partnership.

As part of this role, you will:
- play a full part in the coordination, delivery and evaluation of the Hepp and HeppSY+ programme as well as attending events across the region;
- carry out externally delivered, targeted activity in a variety of settings, in addition to working with staff and students in the institution itself, providing accurate and impartial information to targeted young people;
- carry out research, plan and prepare materials and activities, and deliver presentations in addition to related administrative work including evaluation, record keeping and report writing, including undertaking and leading on an accredited research project.
What experience and skills does a Graduate Intern need?
The ability and confidence to engage an audience of young people is essential, alongside excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills; a positive and flexible approach; and the ability to work accurately and independently.
Applications are particularly welcomed from graduates with experience of studying in a further education college/sixth form setting, with local knowledge of South Yorkshire, perhaps gained from undertaking study in a local college.
