SCHOOL OF CHINESE MEDICINE

Teaching and Research Division

Technical Instructor (2 vacancies) (PR356/17-18)

The appointees are expected to (a) assist in the teaching and tutoring of Traditional Chinese Medicine subjects; (b) assist in coordination of clinical practicum and internship in mainland; (c) assist in organisation of seminars, teaching activities, voluntary services and visits, and/or assessment of General Education courses; (d) provide support to research groups in laboratory management; (e) provide support to promotional and public relations activities of Chinese medicine programmes; and (f) perform other duties as assigned. Occasional duties in evenings and weekends may be required.

Applicants should possess at least a Bachelor's degree in Chinese Medicine with some relevant work experience, a higher academic qualification will be an advantage. The ideal candidate should have excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua), as well as strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Initial appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract of one year. Re-appointment thereafter is subject to mutual agreement and availability of funding.

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
