Position overview

A rare opportunity exists for an Employee Relations Consultant to join the University's Employee Relations team within the Human Resources Division. As an Employee Relations Consultant you will provide responsive and expert advice and support to the Employee Relations Team and key stakeholders within the University on matters including workplace relations, employment conditions, performance management and key HR initiatives.

Working in a fast-paced environment, you will enjoy a diverse and challenging workload ranging from supporting high priority HR initiatives, partnering with managers and HR practitioners to resolve complex employment issues, facilitating compliance with the University's industrial instruments and current legislation, and providing support to University level committees. To be successful in this role you will have exceptional communication and negotiation skills.

The Employee Relations Consultant is an ideal career development opportunity for an experienced HR generalist interested in pursuing a specialisation in employee relations.
