The Education Portfolio is headed by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor Education and Vice President who leads the planning and implementation of the University's strategies related to RMIT's academic programs and the RMIT student experience. The Portfolio is responsible for services to support the quality of RMIT programs, including the professional development of academic staff, continuous improvement of the student experience, learning and teaching outcomes and the management of learning and research information sources.

The Role & Your Responsibilities

The Project Coordinator - VE Design will provide support for multiple projects focusing on vocational education and training (VET) program development at RMIT. In this role, you will be the central contact point and coordinator of multiple projects. In addition, you will coordinate project events, coordinate project digital assets and libraries, monitor and report on project timelines and progress, coordinate external resources and project team work and support project work. The position works closely with the Manager - VE Design, project teams, external resources and key stakeholders.

Skills & Experience Required

As the successful candidate you will have proven experience in organising meetings and/or events. You will have the ability to work and coordinate multiple projects in a complex and fast-paced work environment. Demonstrated ability to coordinate and work with digital asset libraries and/or databases and experience in managing project and team calendars will be highly desirable. Demonstrated capacity to work both independently and in multi-disciplinary team environments will be imperative to your success in this role.
