About the role:
The Alumni Relations Manager is a senior role in Melbourne Law School, sitting within the Engagement and Marketing team, and with strong links to University’s Advancement team.
The Alumni Relations Manager is responsible for developing and implementing an alumni relations strategy, program and budget that supports the University’s and School’s alumni engagement and fundraising goals. The Alumni Relations Manager is also responsible for providing trusted, high level advice to a variety of stakeholders, liaising between Melbourne Law School, staff in departments, centres and other operational units, with the University’s Advancement team. The Alumni Relations Manager also has a strong focus on targeted communications and activities, designed to provide meaningful engagement to alumni locally, nationally and internationally.
The successful candidate will demonstrate extensive experience in an alumni relations and stakeholder management role or equivalent related experience, together with a tertiary qualification, strong stakeholder management skills at all levels, and an understanding of best practice in alumni relations and the relationship to fundraising, teaching and learning, preferably in an education environment.
This is a fixed term role for 3 years.
