Job Description

The Program Manager position is part of the Occupational Health and Safety Division of EHS. This position reports to the Associate Director and is primarily responsible for project safety, construction, and other worker safety programs . This position is primarily based on the Charles River Campus while remaining flexible in assignments across all areas and departments served by EHS. The specific duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the implementation of construction safety programs and other projects. . These programs and projects have elements of training, inspections, recordkeeping and maintenance of permits and certificates. The position serves as the primary liaison to local fire departments and building departments relating to fire and construction safety programs and ensures correction of abatement orders from local authorities. Works with Facilities and project managers to ensure Corrective actions are managed, sprinkler testing and fire alarm testing records are maintained appropriately and readily accessible for authorities having jurisdiction.

Required Skills

At least 5 years of experience in a related field. ON CALL REQUIREMENTS: Participates in the EHS on-call emergency response program. Serves as first responder and as such is responsible for exercising professional judgment to independently determine response actions.
