Project Director (at the rank of Principal Lecturer) - Faculty of Education
Applications are invited for appointment as Project Director (at the rank of Principal Lecturer) in the Centre for Advancement in Inclusive and Special Education within the Faculty of Education, to commence on September 1, 2018 or as soon as possible thereafter, on a two-year fixed-term basis, with the possibility of renewal.
Applicants should possess a doctoral degree in the relevant area, with not less than 15 years’ work experience. They should have extensive experience in project management and administration. Professional experience in human resource management is essential. They should be excellent in keeping team motivation and conducting internal and external communication. They should also be strong team builders and outcome-driven leaders so that they could lead a diverse team achieving the project output. Applicants who have experience on designing and implementing game education projects on social emotional learning for young children and parent education will be preferred. The appointee will be expected to oversee the entire project and integrate the efforts of all supporting teams and key stakeholders towards the goal of enhancing the impact of a social-emotional learning project in pre-school sector extending to the community. A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits. The appointment will attract a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 15% of basic salary. Housing benefits will be provided as applicable.
