Senior Clinical Academic in Restorative Dentistry, a Monospecialty or Special Care Dentistry
We are seeking outstanding clinical academics who will play a leading role within Restorative Dentistry at Bristol Dental School. As a member of the academic restorative team, this key role will help shape the strategy of this discipline and lead the delivery of excellence in undergraduate and postgraduate education within the School. In particular, you will play a central role in shaping the restorative teaching on the BDS programme as part of the ongoing Curriculum Review.
This role requires excellent communication skills, team working and strong clinical leadership. The role holder will be expected to work alongside other senior colleagues to support the development of the next generation of senior restorative academics.
Opportunities exist to develop your passion in teaching and/or research, and collaboration is strongly encouraged across Dental Specialties and other academic disciplines across the Faculty of Health Sciences, and wider University.
Candidates who meet the University’s criteria will be offered the appropriate title of Professor, Reader, Senior Lecturer or Teaching Fellow.
