Charles Darwin University’s (CDU) existing research portfolio is impressive for a youthful university. Ranked in the top 2% of world universities, CDU is currently placed 31st in the top 100 universities in the world under 50 years of age. 

The University’s Office of Research and Innovation (ORI) delivers high quality centralised research services across CDU and supports higher degree research (HDR) student administration, research training, HDR scholarship management, business development, grant submissions and reporting of research activities.

As the Research Ethics Coordinator your focus will be to provide comprehensive coordination and administrative support to the Human Research Ethics Committee and the Animal Ethics Committee. Your activities include coordinating key activities of the Committee’s and managing correspondence associated with the activities of the two committees. In addition, you will advise University staff on the legislative, regulatory and University requirements regarding conduct of research that impacts upon humans and animals.

To be successful you require a tertiary qualification with relevant experience in research ethics administration, sound problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate effectively with key stakeholders.
