The Faculty of Business, Economics and Law offers a variety of undergraduate and postgraduate programs at the St Lucia campus and the UQ Business School CBD Campus which allows for a wide range of specialisations or concentrations, with a high degree of relevance to employers. Programs are designed to help students with aspirations of becoming leaders in the "business and law" sectors to develop their expertise and equip them for a rewarding career.
The Faculty has the highest number of international students enrolled at undergraduate and postgraduate level in the University equating to approximately 30% of the student population. The Faculty continues to experience significant growth in this area. International students come from all continents and regions with over 130 countries represented.
The dedicated International Services Unit manages all aspects of the Faculty's internationalisation and works closely with the Schools of Business, Economics and Law.
This position is to assist in the management of marketing and recruitment activities, business development and partnership linkages with an expected focus in the greater China region in support of the Faculty’s internationalisation strategy. This will include administrative support for the Faculty’s agreements and oversight of their operationalisation. The position also coordinates the international marketing collateral requirements for the International Services Unit.
Applicants for this position should have a minimum of two years’ experience in the international education sector and hold a relevant bachelor degree, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training. You will be required to have exceptional communication and organisational skills enabling you to work independently and also within a team. Experience with international agreement documentation, credit assessment and international student recruitment is highly desirable. Applicants must have a strong customer service focus, with experience in a marketing and communications role an advantage.
This is a full-time, fixed term position for approximately 12 months at HEW Level 6 level. The remuneration package will be in the range at HEW 6 $74,207 - $79,964 p.a. plus employer superannuation contributions of 9.5% (total package will be in the range at HEW 6 $81,256 - $87,561 p.a).
