The School/The Section

The Graduate School of Business (GSB) is part of Faculty of Business and Economics. GSB offers the Master of Business Administration (MBA) both full-time and part-time programme in Fiji and to other pacific island nation.

The Opportunity

The appointee will be required to demonstrate the ability and willingness to teach courses at Masters Level and a range of standard topics, especially, in the areas of Business Economics, Finance, Accounting and Quantitative Business Analysis. The applicant should also demonstrate excellent written and oral communication skills in English.

The Person We Seek

To be considered for this position, applicants must have:

  • A PhD in a relevant field with good and relevant undergraduate degree;
  • Substantial teaching experience and a strong research background;
  • The ability and willingness to teach at the Master’s level;
  • Demonstrated ability and competence in research;
  • Demonstrated excellent written and oral communication skills in English.

Preference will be given to applicants with: demonstrated excellence in teaching in a multicultural environment and maintenance of their subject expertise through research publications.


The position is available for a term of 5 years and may be renewed by mutual agreement.

Salary Range: FJ $90, 882 to FJ $104, 865 per annum
