The University of Central Lancashire is committed to delivering Degree Apprenticeships that meet the needs of employers and successfully fill skills gaps to facilitate positive change and growth. The University has worked with employers and professional bodies to develop the Digital Technology and Solutions Degree Apprenticeship, and there is substantial interest in this Degree Apprenticeship from employers in a range of sectors across East Lancashire.
An exciting opportunity has risen for a Course Leader/Coordinator for the Digital Technology and Solutions Degree Apprenticeship.
We are seeking a positive individual who has a passion to create a flagship programme and develop a reputation of quality with employers in the East Lancashire region. The successful applicant must have experience of curriculum development, using a variety of learning technologies and extensive experience of using virtual learning environments in HE.
You must have a flexible approach to learning and teaching, the ability to engage with work-based learning using technology, and a willingness to work effectively with employers. The successful applicant will create effective partnerships to develop the workforce in the region.
Candidates must possess course leadership or equivalent experience. Furthermore, you must have a proven track record of working with employers and experience of supporting work based learners. Educated to at least Masters level, the successful applicant will also hold a teaching qualification or be a member of the HEA and be an excellent networker.
