We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and dynamic Senior Lecturer to lead provision of our BSc Psychology, Psychotherapy and Counselling at the Burnley campus. Your role will be to contribute to the activities of the School and University in teaching, learning, assessment, research and income generation.
The successful applicant will be a qualified and experienced academic and will assist in the development and delivery of the undergraduate and post graduate provision for the School at the Burnley Campus.
Applicants will have a PhD in psychology or related discipline and a proven research record. Previous experience of teaching psychology/counselling/psychotherapy and course leadership in higher education setting is essential, as well as curriculum development experience in a university setting.
With excellent presentation, communication and networking skills, the successful candidate will have the ability to work successfully as part of a team and independently. A professional approach to administrative duties and the ability to show initiative and innovation are essential abilities for this role.
