About the position
The Director - Bond University College (BUC) is a key academic position within Bond University. It is responsible for leading the BUC Executive team to ensure that student enrolment and student mix targets are set and achieved, and that strategies are developed to further strengthen the College’s position.
Reporting to the Deputy Vice-Chancellor Academic, this position will drive the achievement of the College’s mission and its contribution to the strategy of the broader University. Most importantly, the role will lead the delivery and development of academic programs and ensure that the College delivers exceptional student learning experiences and outcomes commensurate with the high standards of Bond University.
About the person:
The successful candidate will be post-grad qualified in Education or related field with extensive experience in a senior leadership position in a similar educational environment. Experience in strategy, planning and financial budget management is essential, as is competence in managing and leading people in a complex environment.
The ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with stakeholders, manage change and ensure quality teaching and learning outcomes is required, along with a strong knowledge and understanding of pathways and bridging programs within a tertiary education environment.
To be successful in this position, the candidate must possess highly developed communication and interpersonal skills therefore enabling them to effectively represent the College and the University. The ability to develop and manage education sector partnerships is desired.
