Assistant Professor in Construction Management and Quantity Surveying
About the position
This is an outstanding opportunity for a suitably qualified academic to join the Faculty of Society & Design at an exciting time of growth and development.
The emphases of the position is to deliver and undertake teaching and research within the areas of building services and contract administration. In addition, experience in construction technology, building measurement/quantity surveying and construction management will be highly regarded.
About the person:
The successful applicant will hold a PhD in a relevant field and/or have extensive relevant industry experience. It is desirable that the applicants are members of a relevant professional body such as the RICS or Australian Institute of Quantity Surveyors or be eligible for such membership.
As an academic staff member, the successful applicant will be responsible for contributing to teaching, research and service in the Faculty and University at the undergraduate and postgraduate level. The successful applicant will also engage in professional and industry liaison and provide student support within the Faculty.
