Salary package: $109,432 to $114,744 per annum plus 17% superannuation
Terms: Full time, Continuing

As the Manager, Marketing and Communications, you will lead the external face of the ANU College of Law, currently ranked 12th for law and legal studies globally. With an emphasis on undergraduate, postgraduate and research degrees, the ANU College of Law provides a unique understanding of current law and policy, with graduates working not only as lawyers, but as agents for social change, improving public policy and enhancing global diplomacy. The future leaders of Australia will be your target audience, as are our exceptional alumni community, the legal profession, government and employers more generally.
The College is one of only two Australian law schools to have received the highest possible rating for academic research and the role will include communicating this research to the world. To be successful in this role you will bring in a fresh perspective to marketing with the proven ability to set strategic direction, realise synergies and capitalise on opportunities. Experience in the tertiary education sector would be highly regarded however not a necessity. You will have direct responsibility across the key functions of the Marketing, Communications and Outreach branch including but not limited to marketing (particularly digital marketing), events management, philanthropic development and alumni relations and student recruitment.
You will lead your team to ensure the effective coordination of these activities to align with College and University direction and to present a consistent profile and to maximise the opportunity of each outcome. You will have considerable autonomy and direct ability to make things happen. A key aspect of your role as a leader within the College will be to maintain strong relationships with other relevant University stakeholders in other Colleges and with specialised service divisions relevant to this role.
