Salary: $69,148 - $93,830 p.a. plus 17% superannuation

The University of Melbourne seeks an enthusiastic, motivated and team-focused Clinical Veterinary Tutor (Equine Surgery) to join our team in the Department of Veterinary Clinical Sciences at the Melbourne Veterinary School. The Melbourne Veterinary School’s Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) is AVMA, RCVS and VSAAC accredited and the school is ranked globally at 15th among veterinary professional schools. The Equine Surgery Clinical Tutor will be responsible for the day to day assessment and management of both in- and out- patient horses at the University of Melbourne’s Equine Centre, based at the U-Vet Werribee Animal Hospital (“Hospital”). Veterinary clinical tutors will work under the supervision of the senior veterinary team but are expected to take increasing responsibility for their cases as they progress.

The position will be based at the Werribee campus but will be expected to teach at the Parkville campus from time to time.
