Coventry University is one of the leading higher education recruiters and was ranked top new university in the April 2017 Complete University Guide for the UK and named as one of the world's top institutions under 50 years old in the Times Higher Education world rankings.

The School of Art and Design has a proud history of over 175 years as the longest operating entity within Coventry University. Within the Faculty of Arts and Humanities it is part of a vibrant community of scholars, researchers and practitioners with a global profile.

Architecture at Coventry University is a young and ambitious subject and is ranked 11th in the Guardian university league tables for 2018. In September 2017, we had the first intake of our new March, which will build on the ARB/RIBA accredited BSc Architecture in a further step towards developing the full provision of professional architecture education.

Architecture is enjoying much demand and we are looking to expand our experienced teaching team with the appointment of new staff who will be able to make a major contribution to the establishment of our courses at national and international level.

The successful candidates will be passionate about architecture and higher education with a strong track record in teaching, practice and/or research. We invite candidates with a broad interest, but would particularly welcome expertise in design, conceptualisation and representation and/or the historical and theoretical context of architecture.
