Senior Lecturer in Marketing an/or Advertising

As we continue to build on this success, Coventry Business School is expanding significantly and we currently have a vacancy for an experienced, highly motivated Senior Lecturer in Marketing and/or Advertising within the growing, dynamic School of Marketing and Management. The successful candidate will take the lead in course management, curriculum design and pedagogic enhancements and be part of an innovative and committed team delivering on undergraduate and postgraduate courses in marketing and advertising. As well as being engaged in research and income generation with a particular focus upon marketing and advertising and an active role in developing the schools research culture. There will also be opportunities to be involved with delivery on our executive education courses, and to contribute to internationalisation and profile building activities.

It is essential that teaching is informed by contemporary research and current practice within marketing and/or advertising to enable students to engage in co-creation of knowledge and meaningful debate. You will be expected to demonstrate evidence of successful student outcomes, and a growing international research profile that is aligned to one of our research centres.
Applicants will need PhD or equivalent (if from professional practice background) in a management focused subject and recent teaching experience. Preference will be given to candidates with a record of publications in the relevant field and/or can demonstrate impact and contribution to practice. Your profile and ability to network and develop partnerships with external organisations will be relevant to further enhance the school's reputation and profile.
