The School of Computing, Electronics and Mathematics is looking for three Assistant Lecturers in Computer Science.
The Faculty of Engineering, Environment and Computing at Coventry University is one of the largest in the UK, and is nationally and internationally renowned as a centre of innovation for its teaching, learning and research of computing subject areas. The School of Computing, Electronics and Mathematics is one of three schools within the faculty and has a very successful suite of courses supported by excellent staff, teaching facilities and laboratories. The school is responsible for the development of a thriving portfolio of teaching and research. We offer undergraduate degrees in Business Information Technology, Computer Science, Computing, Ethical Hacking and Cybersecurity, Games Technology and Multimedia Computing. Our postgraduate courses include Data Science and Computational Intelligence, Computer Science, Network and Forensic Computing.

We are interested in expanding our computer science teaching team, particularly in the following areas:
- Algorithms, infrastructure and applications of big data
- Artificial intelligence, computational intelligence and machine learning
- Information Security
- Digital Forensics and Incident Response
- Machine Vision
You will be responsible for the delivery and support of learning, teaching and assessment at undergraduate and postgraduate level. You will work closely with the course teams to help provide the high-quality learning environment our students expect.
Applicants should hold a post-graduate degree in Computer Science or related subject. Professional qualification and/or membership and/or a PhD is advantageous. Experience of working in higher education will be very useful.
