Business Support Assistant
We are looking for two enthusiastic people to join the Course Administration Service (CAS), within the Academic Registry, to provide a wide ranging and varied high quality administrative support to academics, students and external stakeholders.
The successful applicants will have demonstrable experience of current administrative/clerical practices in a busy office environment and experience of customer service, organising, updating and maintaining accurate computerised records and files. An ability to organise and present information both verbally and in writing is required along with experience of working in an environment with a high degree of customer contact. You will work closely with other members of the administrative and academic team, as required.
The successful applicants will also have a range of GCSEs, including English Language and Maths at Grade C or above, or appropriate equivalent experiential learning and the ability to work consistently under pressure, prioritise work and meet deadlines. A collaborative approach to working and a commitment to continuous improvement is also an essential component of the role.
