The Role & Responsibilities

As a Research Assistant, you will be responsible for contributing to emerging, high quality and productivity driven research. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to supervising postgraduate students undertaking research and contribute to the teaching and learning activities of the School.

Skills & Experience Required

Position 1 (563955) - You will be performing experimental research in the field of magnetometry and its applications, with a demonstrated research track record on a national and international level in an area relevant to quantum information science, diamond or laser physics, as evidenced by high quality publications will be critical to your success in this role.

Position 2 (563960) -Working for RMIT at the ARC Centre of Excellence for Nanoscale BioPhotonics, you will require theoretical expertise in research areas such as: Optical and photonic modelling; quantum-limited sensing; and information theory to prepare publications and project reports in collaboration with other CNBP members.

Position 3 (563958) - Also working for RMIT at the ARC Centre of Excellence for Nanoscale BioPhotonics, this position will require expertise in areas including fluorescence microscopy, nanomaterial characterization and bioconjugation, cell culturing and immunohistochemistry.

For all positions you will need to demonstrate a record of national and preferably international publications commensurate with experience
