Coventry Business School is expanding significantly and we currently have a vacancy for the Principal Lecturer position in Supply Chain Management in our already vibrant and expanding School of Strategy and Leadership. The Business School has enjoyed considerable success in recent years and we are looking to continue to build on this success. The successful candidate will become part of the team that delivers our Undergraduate and Postgraduate courses in the school in addition to playing a significant role in enhancing the research culture and environment of the school.

We are looking to add to our team innovative individuals who are committed to teaching and course management along with playing an active role in developing the research culture of the school.

Principal Lecturers are academic leaders in the University who are expected to make a substantial impact on the global academy, society and the University through effective and innovative leadership in learning and teaching and scholarship,research and/or enterprise. The role holder will have significant and on-going international and national reputation in their field/discipline. They will hold substantive management/leadership roles at School level and will contribute to University-level strategic planning processes. We therefore expect the role holder to contribute to the formation and implementation of strategic priorities in the University and to work across disciplinary and structural boundaries in the University where it is appropriate to do so.

It is essential that teaching is informed by contemporary research and provides the ability for your students to engage in debate. You will be able to demonstrate evidence of successful student outcomes, and a growing research profile. You will be able to demonstrate innovative approaches to teaching and for students through the use of a wide range of learning resources and pedagogic practice.
