The Queensland College of Art (QCA) is one of Australia's foremost Design, Art, and Film colleges. The College has over 2200 students enrolled across undergraduate and postgraduate programs. As a comprehensive Design, Art and Film college, QCA offers a rich selection of forward looking creative programmes with a focus on effectively positioning its graduates and researchers as world-class creative-thinkers and practitioners within a fast changing, globally connected landscape. The College is part of Griffith University's Art, Education, and Law Group.
The successful appointee will be required to lead aspects of teaching and curriculum development and supervise staff. As a teacher, the successful appointee will undertake responsibilities at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. As a researcher, they will make a significant contribution to strengthening research in industrial and product design and advanced manufacture, with emphasis on 3D printing and digital design.
This is a continuing, full time position based at the South Bank campus.
As the successful candidate, you will have a doctoral qualification with significant professional experience in a relevant field. You will have proven experience in teaching across a range of tertiary levels and be able to apply current learning and teaching principles. As Professor / Associate Professor, you will have a substantial track record of excellence in research, including the ability to manage and publish high quality research inline with the strategic objectives of the Queensland College of Art.
Professor, Level E: $172,326 per annum. Salary package including 17% employer superannuation contribution: $201,622 per annum.
Associate Professor, Level D: $133,778 - $147,383 per annum. Salary package including 17% employer superannuation contribution: $156,521 - $172,439 per annum.
